this is a peacock

Male peafowl are called peacocks, and females are known as peahen. There are two subspecies of this bird, the Indian peafowl, and the Green peafowl. The African Congo peafowl is not a subspecies of this bird, it is actually placed in it’s own genus. They live in the forest and nest on the ground but they roost in the trees. Their plumage is bluish-green or yellowish-brown. peafowls are omnivores and eat plant parts, flower petals, seed heads, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. They make a high pitched call during mating season that sounds kind of like a cat’s meow.
