The Bald Eagle is the national bird of the United States of America. The Bald Eagle lives in forests usually next to the shores of lakes and oceans.  Their diet usually consists of fish but they also eat a variety of small mammals like snakes and birds. Bald Eagles are a threatened species.  In the wild Bald Eagles can live from 20-30 years max and it takes around 1 month for an egg to hatch. Adult eagles wing span can reach up to 7 ft long and they can weigh 9-14 pounds.

Fun Fact: Adult Eagles have 7000 feathers!
