The Guadelope Raccoon is a sub-species of the common raccoon. It is found on Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, two Guadelope islands. It is closely related to the Bahaman Raccoon. It is a bit smaller then other raccoons. Their coat color is dark grey.

This is an endangered species, with less than 2,500 adults, and still declining. Its habitat of mangrove and rain forests is being cut down, people kill them for food, and the introduction of the crab-eating-raccoon.
